Türkiye Scholarships for International Students

Introduction:

Türkiye Scholarships is a competitive scholarship program funded by the Turkish government. It aims to provide outstanding students from all over the world with the opportunity to pursue full-time or short-term programs at the top universities in Turkey. The program is open to applicants interested in pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Academic Criteria:
   • Bachelor’s degree applicants: Minimum academic achievement of 70%
   • Master’s and Doctorate degree applicants: Minimum academic achievement of 75%
   • Health Science (Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy) applicants: Minimum academic achievement of 90%
2. Age Criteria:
   • Undergraduate programs: Applicants must be under the age of 21.
   • Master’s programs: Applicants must be under the age of 30.
   • Doctorate programs: Applicants must be under the age of 35.
   • Research Scholarships: Applicants must be under the age of 45.
3. Eligible Groups:
   • Citizens of all countries.
   • Graduates or applicants who will graduate by August 2023.
   • Researchers and academicians.

Benefits: The Türkiye Scholarships provide the following benefits to selected candidates:

• University and program placement
• Monthly stipend:
  • Bachelor’s: 1000 TL per month
  • Master’s: 1,400 TL per month
  • PhD: 1,800 TL per month
• Tuition fees
• Once-off return flight ticket
• Health insurance
• Accommodation
• One-year Turkish Language Course

Deadline: The application deadline for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD level programs is 20 February 2023. Research applicants can apply throughout the year.

Application Process: Applications are currently closed. When the application period is open, candidates must apply individually through the official website: www.turkiyeburslari.gov.tr. It is important to note that no institutions or individuals are authorized to apply for Türkiye Scholarships on behalf of the candidates.
