Monash Raydon Graduate Research Scholarships:

Monash University offers highly competitive scholarships that are awarded based on the applicants’ academic record, research outputs, and prior research experience. These scholarships are made possible through the generous support of the Narodowski Investment Trust. The following 6 scholarships will be awarded each year:

a. Alex Raydon PhD Scholarship

b. Alex Raydon and Nina Narodowski PhD Scholarship (x 2)

c. Max and Riva Radunski PhD Scholarship

d. Sam and Nina Narodowski PhD Scholarship

e. Sonia Narodowski PhD Scholarship

Note: The scholarship is also available to students undertaking Joint Research Awards when Monash University is the home institution.

  1. Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the Monash University Raydon Graduate Research Scholarships, applicants must fulfill the following conditions:
  • Applicants must be an International student, Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident, or Australian humanitarian visa holder.
  • Applicants must have submitted a scholarship application in the current year.
  • Applicants must be undertaking research in the study areas of social justice, social inclusion, human rights, sustainability or environment, or social policy for the betterment of society.
  • Applicants must belong to the faculties of Art, Design and Architecture; Arts; Education and Law only.
  • Applicants must meet Monash’s competitive scholarship selection process requirements.
  • Applicants must meet Monash’s English language proficiency requirements.
  1. Application Procedures:
  • How-to-Apply: The application for graduate research scholarships is completed at the time of applying for the course, unless the applicant is already enrolled. A single application is used for both admission and scholarship. There is no need to specify the particular scholarship as all eligible applicants are automatically considered for all graduate research scholarships.

New applicants must obtain an Expression of Interest (EOI) from the relevant faculty before starting the application process.

Application Deadline: The deadline for applications is October 31, 2023.
